AVALONIA
overviewAvalonia Land Conservancy was established in 1968 and maintains miles of trails on more than 4,400 acres in southeastern Connecticut. Not only do their preserves provide habitat for the countless species of birds, pollinators, and wildlife, but they protect local watersheds within the community.
OUR CLIENTS NEEDSDuring their 50th anniversary in 2018, Avalonia completed a rebranding initiative and now wanted a video they could use when meeting new funders, partners, donors, as well as at regional events to increase awareness and inspire community support.
OUR SOLUTIONEncouraged by our local stewards of the land, we were excited to craft their story of preservation and nature conservation. Joanna Chokas wrote an incredible script that flowed as easy was the breeze that We filmed at their parks for a span of three months, utilizing various environments with local talent. When filming was complete the edit fell into place and the script.
