PRIZE OF THE CHESAPEAKE
THE SITUATIONThe Fell's Point Preservation Society had a problem. They were beginning their tourist season for 1912 and they need two things. One was a video to demonstrate the difference between a pirate and a privateer, and the second was a video that could highlight Fell's Point as a major shipbuilder whose contributions in the 1800's helped America become victorious during the war of 1812.
OUR SOLUTIONFiresite Films decided to combine both issues into one 10 min film that would be shown on a Kiosk in the museum as well as their website.
The mission was to create a youth oriented film that explains the history of Fell’s Point, and clarifies the importance of privateers during the War of 1812. Now join Susan, Joshua, and Petey the parrot thru a fun and entertaining educational video that explains the difference between a privateer and a pirate and shows why Fell's Point became the prize of the Chesapeake during the war of 1812. |
